Data Retention
Last updated 8 September 2026
How long each kind of data is kept, and why.
Unreviewed draft — not legally binding
This document was drafted with AI assistance and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is a starting point for legal review, not a finished agreement, and it must not be relied upon by anyone. A qualified attorney licensed in the relevant jurisdiction must review and approve this text before the platform accepts payment or onboards users outside a closed test.
1.Account and billing data
Account records are kept while your account is open. After deletion, account data is removed, except where we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Billing records are retained by our payment processor for the period tax and accounting law requires, independently of your account.
Counsel to complete: the applicable statutory retention period for financial records in the operating jurisdiction (commonly 6–7 years, but this must be confirmed, not assumed).
2.Predictions and their scored outcomes
Your predictions are kept while your account is open, and are deleted with it. They are visible only to your account.
A prediction is not rewritten after the fact. Each one records what the agents concluded from the information available before an earnings event, and is scored against the actual result afterwards — so editing it later would make it a record of something that never happened. We keep the model and prompt version alongside it for the same reason. Correcting a recorded actual result is possible, is restricted to administrators, and is logged with the before-and-after values.
To be built: deletion is currently handled manually on request — there is no self-service control for removing an individual analysis or closing an account. Until there is, this section describes what we will do when asked, not something you can do yourself.
3.Chat messages and supplied analysis
Messages you send to the consensus agent, and any qualitative analysis you supply with a request, are retained with the account that created them and deleted with it.
4.API keys you supply
Encrypted at rest and deleted immediately when you remove them in settings, or when the account is deleted. Rotate a key at the provider if you believe it has been exposed; deleting it here does not revoke it there.
5.Diagnostic and usage data
Error reports are retained by our monitoring provider on their default schedule. Usage records — the counts behind your plan allowance — are kept as a billing record for the same period as billing data.
6.Backups
To be completed once backups are configured: the readiness review flagged that automated database backups and a rehearsed restore are still outstanding. Once they exist, the backup retention window belongs here — deleted data typically persists in backups for that window, and saying so is required for an accurate deletion promise.
